Hello everyone, I am writing this blog to introduce myself and my new company. My name is Candice Petersen, to my friends and family I am known as Candy. I have 2 little boys one 10 and one 2 years old, and a loving husband of 10 years. I first starting making bracelets as a pastime as my youngest child would sleep. I then developed a love and a passion for jewelry crafting. I have been crafting jewelry for 2 years now. My favorite items to craft with are Gemstones; for those that are not aware of what Gemstone are:

Gemstones are pieces of mineral (rock), which, in cut and polished form, is used to make jewelry or other adornments. However certain rocks, (such as lapis lazuli) and organic materials (such as amber or jet) are not minerals, but are still used for jewelry, and are therefore often considered being gemstones as well.

I enjoy making Gemstone bracelets every night and uploading them to my website www.thecandycollections.etsy.com this business venture has been a new and exciting ride for me, this has transformed into something that I think about day in and day out, you can say I have Gemstones on the brain. lol Gemstone bracelets are often seen on television shows such as MobWives, Basketball Wives, Real Housewives of Atlanta, Love and Hip Hop, etc.  Check out my website and let me know your thoughts and comments.
